It’s Official: Metro Manila at Its Coldest Is No Match for Your Ex’s Heart

(SPOT.ph) It's official—Valentine's Day is also the coldest day of the year in Metro Manila so far and it's not because of the singles (or your ex). The temperature dropped to 20.3°C at 5:55 a.m. on February 14 at the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration's Science Garden monitoring station in Quezon City.
It beats the cold 20.6°C temperature PAGASA recorded in Quezon City on February 4, thanks to the prevailing Amihan, which ushered in a cool Christmas breeze in October 2022. Depending on your relationship status, it's an excuse to cuddle up or wear your best chilly-weather outfit...or do both.

Of course, Baguio tops the list when it tallied a bone-chilling 13.5°C at 7 a.m. this Valentine's Day. Four other areas recorded temperatures below 20°C.
