LOOK: Add the Marikina Uniqlo Roadside to Your Weekend Bike Route

(SPOT.ph) Cyclists in the Metro can agree that Marikina is one of the best destinations to breeze through, courtesy of the serene provincial vibe, wide roads with dedicated lanes for bikers, and of course, bike-friendly establishments dotting the area—we're talking restaurants and cafes, heritage and recreational sites, and even outlets plus unique and standalone stores. Speaking of the last part, there's a new addition to the roster of must-visit shops in the neighborhood: Japanese lifewear brand Uniqlo and its fourth roadside store in the country. And to make things exciting, especially for the cyclists in and around Marikina, because it has space for you to park your two wheels while you shop. Yup, they understood the assignment.

Check out what to expect in the fourth Uniqlo roadside store in Marikina.

In true roadside fashion, you can bet that the Uniqlo Marquinton store is right along Sumulong Highway. Riders can (and will, no doubt) immediately take notice of the towering Uniqlo sign while on their bike, riding up as the massive rectangular edifice that is the roadside store reveals itself.

There's a parking space for not just cars, but also for your bicycles. It's the first Uniqlo store in the Metro to feature bicycle racks.  You can easily spot the metallic racks you can park your bikes in when the force of Uniqlo compels you to stop and shop. We can't blame you.

One cannot just pass through their stores and not go inside, especially cyclists and those with an active lifestyle—we're sure you're familiar with their activewear pieces both for men and women. For example, the AIRism Soft Pocket Biker Shorts are a tried-and-tested pair of smooth and comfy bottoms that have deep-enough pockets for your phones and other handy necessities like your wallets. It won't be a Uniqlo opening without exclusive in-store deals for a whole week, so keep your eyes peeled for those red sale signs, which also include Uniqlo-wide deals. We spotted items for as low as P290. The fourth Uniqlo roadside store opens on April 28 at 10 a.m. so mark your calendars and ready your alarms.
