10 Workout Studios Offering Free Online Classes

(SPOT.ph) We’re a few days into “enhanced community quarantine”, so if you’re feeling a bit restless being stuck indoors or if you’re having a case of cabin fever, we know something that might just lift your spirits: free workout classes online!
A number of local workout studios are bringing their drills and exercises online so you can take care of yourself and stay fit without having to leave the comforts of your home. The best part? They’re all free! From yoga to Pilates to CrossFit to dance, there’s a number of workouts you can choose from. Plus, a lot of them are using platforms like Facebook Live, Instagram Live, or YouTube Live, which makes it even more fun because you’re working out with a bunch of other people in real time!
Check out these workout studios and see how you can join their free classes:
YogaPlus has a variety of yoga classes which they do via Facebook Live daily at 4 p.m. Take your pick from Yin, Flow, HIIT Yoga, and Fundamentals. They also offer Chair Yoga and Mindfulness classes every 10 a.m., on Wednesdays and Fridays respectively. Their skilled instructors have a setup that you can easily copy in your own home.
SPOT.ph’s number one Pilates studio in the Metro is helping you do some easy workouts at home, thanks to their Home Exercise Series which you can watch on their Instagram page. Onelife Studio uploads multiple short exercise videos daily so you’ll have a lot of different moves you can mix and match with to switch up your workouts. Plus, if you’re a member, Onelife Studio’s instructors can help create a workout program that you can follow regularly.
Beyond Yoga’s instructors individually livestream their classes on their respective personal Facebook accounts, which is then shared by Beyond Yoga’s official Facebook page so more followers can join. Take your pick from Beyond Yoga’s classes, like Vinyasa 1, Rocket 1, Yin, Meditation, and more. Some instructors even include a link to a playlist to really set the mood! The class schedule is posted daily on Beyond Yoga’s Facebook page, or simply like the page to get notified when they go live on the platform.
Plana Forma combines yoga, Pilates, and dance in one 55-minute workout. The workout studio has started doing YouTube Live sessions where you can do quick 15-minute workouts that target different body parts. So far, they’ve done Abs Express and Thigh Seat Extreme Blast which you can find on their YouTube channel. Keep an eye on their Facebook page because that’s where they’ll be announcing their schedule
Electric Studio might be known for their fun spinning classes, but nothing’s stopping them from making sure everyone’s fit and healthy even at home because they’re doing live online workouts on their Instagram page. Before you even ask, no, their classes don’t require you to have your own stationary bike because they’ll be doing a mix of workouts, from Pilates to core exercises to body weight training—you just need a mat, a towel, and a water bottle and you’re good to go! Electric Studio announces their schedule on their Instagram Stories, so make sure to check that out to see what classes are coming up.
F45 combines High-Intensity Interval Training, Circuit Training, and Functional Training in one intense 45-minute class that will have you sweating buckets, and their home workouts are no different. They upload easy-to-follow home workouts on their Instagram page (specifically their BGC Stopover branch’s account) so you can do the workouts during your free time.
WAY @ The Grove
This workout studio is also putting up free online workout classes on their Facebook page. WAY @ The Grove offers yoga, Pilates, and barre classes and their instructors either go live on their Facebook or upload videos on their personal YouTube channels, which are then cross-shared to the workout studio’s official Facebook page. The classes are 60 to 90 minutes long, and some of the workouts they offer include Ashtanga, Hot 90, Guided Meditation, and more.
Steps Dance Studio
Put on your dancing shoes: Those who want to try giving dancing a try, Steps Dance Studio offers free dance classes via Facebook Live. Some of the classes you can join so far include Modern Warm Up and Ballet Barre. You can find their class schedule on their Facebook page.
The Movement Studio
The Movement Studio is known for fun workouts that involve a lot of cardio and strength training, and this time, they’re letting you join their classes without leaving your home. They will be posting three to four workouts a week on their Instagram page via IGTV, so you can do the workout whenever you have free time. So far, they’ve uploaded an Upper Body Blast workout that involves zero equipment, so you can definitely do it at home!
Learn some cool hip-hop moves and have a sweat sesh with Groove Central’s energetic instructors. The dance studio is offering free online dance classes which they upload on their Facebook page daily. Who knows, you might even learn steps to your favorite song!
