PSA: This Airline's Giving Away 20,400 Free Round-Trip Tickets to Hong Kong

(SPOT.ph) A few weeks ago, we gave you a heads-up about Hong Kong's latest tourism initiative that sees the region giving out over half a million round-trip tickets to lucky travelers worldwide. At the time of the announcement, most of the details about the giveaway were pretty much hush-hush, but all that changed today, March 1, at the official start of the World of Winners campaign. Our biggest update? A total of 20,400 tickets are to be raffled off specifically for Filipinos via Cathay Pacific starting March 3 until March 9. Note that they're not the only airline giving away tickets.

Here's how you can win free roundtrip tickets to Hong Kong from Cathay Pacific:

So how exactly can you get your hands on free round-trip economy-class Cathay Pacific tickets to Hong Kong? Well, it's actually a pretty simple process. All you have to do is become a Cathay member by signing up at their website. Then starting March 3, 12 p.m. until March 9, 11:59 p.m., log on to the campaign website using your Cathay credentials and answer three questions correctly. It's on a first-come, first-served basis meaning only the first 20,400 entrants with correct answers can win. Winners will be notified on March 21. 

Cathay Pacific advises interested travelers to sign up as a member as early as they can. This way, all you have to worry about is getting on the campaign website the day of. 

This offer is open to all residents of the Philippines. However, you may want to consider that Cathay Pacific only flies out from NAIA and Cebu International Airport. So for Spotters outside Metro Manila and Cebu, you may want to factor in getting to the necessary airports when you make your plans.

There are a total of 30,000 tickets up for grabs in the Philippines. So if you're not part of the 20,400 winners from Cathay Pacific, you may want to try your luck by checking Hong Kong Airlines and Hong Kong Express; as of writing their own mechanics have not been released, but we'll keep watch right with you.
