Check out this cool Mario Kart-style Japan tour in Tokyo:
Consider booking this special tour if you're bound to explore Tokyo's Akihabara district, a.k.a. anime paradise. The Street Go Karting Experience tour in Akihabara is exactly what it is—it's going around the streets and alleys of Akihabara on an electric go-kart, but what's even more fun is that you also get to dress up as your favorite characters while you drive around. Think driving cool and breezy in downtown Tokyo while wearing a onesie and some accessories like your favorite Disney, Nintendo, or anime character.
An hour on these go-karts will cost you about P2,989, but that's already inclusive of the use of any of the costumes they have on deck, plus the go-karts and English-speaking tour guides.
Despite being a fun way to spend a morning in Tokyo, this tour is no joke. The go-karts used can go as fast as 60 km/hr, and you'll be driving on actual roads that cars and other vehicles use. Consequently, this tour requires all participants to have an international driver's permit before they book this activity. Unfortunately, folks, that's different from your standard Philippine driver's license.
