Here's everything you need to know about the Great Mabuhay Miles Getaway:

ICYDK, Mabuhay Miles is Philippine Airlines' frequent flyer program. It's a rewards system where you earn miles from travel completed with the airline and transactions with Mabuhay Miles partner merchants.  You and a beneficiary can use the Miles you earn to book international and domestic trips and flight upgrades. 

Outside of the Great Mabuhay Miles Getaway (GMMG), specific routes and upgrades can be redeemed after using a hefty amount of points earned. But this week, all bets are off as you can redeem Mabuhay Miles benefits at half their usual rate. Tickets bought within this period can be redeemed from August 1 to November 30 for selected one-way or round-trip domestic and international routes.

Book your flights at any PAL Ticket Office and fill out the Travel Award Redemption Formor thru the Reservations Hotline at 02-8855-8888. You may also book online, granted your Mabuhay Miles account has been verified already.

How to earn Mabuhay Miles?

Before you can start earning miles, you must first register, which you can do online. Miles can be earned every time you fly with Philippine Airlines and All Nippon Airways (ANA). Miles earned varies from destination to destination and also your flight class. You can check the specific number of miles you can earn for every destination online through PAL's Mileage calculator. 

Alternatively, you can also earn Mabuhay Miles by converting points from partner loyalty programs from other establishments. You can convert your SMAC points, Shell Go+, Petron Value points, and even credit card points from banks like Metrobank, Unionbank, BPI, BDO, RCBC, Security Bank, and many others to Mabuhay Miles.
