(SPOT.ph) It’s no secret that Italians are some of the most food-loving nations around—and this translates to them having exceptionally good fare that hardly fails to please. It’s delicious in its diversity, with different regions each bringing forward different profiles—from the hearty bolognese sauce of Emilia-Romagna to the meaty osso bucco of Lombardy and the simple but satisfying tomato-sauced pasta dishes of Tuscany. Worth mentioning, too, is the way they balance the use of rich cheeses and sauces with fresh, seasonal ingredients, putting emphasis on quality and achieving a harmony of flavors.
If you must get your fix, the good news is that there are several Italian restaurants in the Metro that are taking orders for delivery—so you can enjoy a hearty plate of pizza or pasta without having to leave your house.
