10 Exciting Titles Coming to Netflix This December

(SPOT.ph) Christmas season means only one thing: Finally getting to binge-watch all the shows you've had on your list all year. We kid, of course, but there's no denying this is the perfect time to make the most out of family or me time by turning it into a streaming session. Well, it looks like Netflix has our back with a whole new slew of exciting titles! Check them out below.

Put these 10 Netflix series and films on your watch-list for December 2022:

Emily in Paris: Season 3 (Series)

Release date: December 21

Say bonjour to the City of Love once again. A year after moving to Paris, Lily Collins' Emily faces the ultimate crossroad of her 20-something life. Will she move to Sylvie's (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) new firm? Will she choose Lucas Bravo's Gabriel or the yummy season two newcomer Lucien Laviscount's Alfie? One thing's for sure, Emily Cooper has a lot of decisions to make this coming season—sudden impulse to cut her bangs not included.

Alice in Borderland: Season 2 (Series)

Release date: December 22

Are you ready for the next level, er, by that we mean season? Season 1 of the hit show covered 31 chapters of the manga and we're definitely keeping our fingers crossed that the remaining 33 will be covered by Season 2. Now, who's ready to place their bets on who's going to make it 'til the end?

Roald Dahl's Matilda the Musical (Movie)

Release date: December 25

Admit it, ever since you've seen the trailer to Roald Dahl's Matilda the Musical, Revolting Children has been playing in your head on a loop. Directed by Olivier nominee Matthew Warchus, the movie stars Emma Thompson as the disciplinarian Miss Trunchbull, Lashana Lynch, and Irish actor Alisha Weir in the titular role of Matilda. An adaptation of the 2011 stage play, the film tells the story of an extraordinary girl with a vivid imagination and a heart of gold. 

The Recruit (Series)

Release date: December 16

Everyone pretty much identifies Noah Centineo as the rom-com guy; sure, he appeared in Black Adam as Atom Smasher but almost every other piece of his work has something to do with being the dreamy leading man. This time around, Centineo is playing lawyer-turned-agent at the CIA and as the trailer suggests, this one's bound to be full of action, humor, and a couple of shirtless scenes. Thanks for the early Christmas present, Netflix.

Harry & Meghan (Documentary)

Release date: December 8

Ah yes, the British Royal Family. Some may love 'em, some may hate 'em. But one thing's for sure, they do make great subjects for television. Now, we know you've pretty much finished all the available episodes of The Crown so here's another BRF-themed offering for you: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and a look into their lives pre- and post-Megxit.

The Witcher: Blood Origin (Series)

Release date: December 25

So, while Henry Cavill has left the series, we do have Michelle Yeoh coming in. No, not as The Witcher, of course, but as Scían, a sword-elf who is the last of her tribe. This prequel is set 1200 years before the time of Geralt of Riviera. Through Scían's quest, we will see the epic events—most likely related to Scían's quest—that led to the pivotal “conjunction of the spheres,” that made The Witcher's world what it is (Read: a wondrous mess of monsters, men, and elves).

Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area Part 2 (Series) 

Release date: December 9 

Couldn't get enough of the original Spanish series? Netflix kept things going with a South Korean remake! Now dropping its second part soon enough, we get to see what happens after their attempt to pull off a massive four trillion won heist. If the OG show was anything to go by, we're sure this thing's about to get a hell of a lot more complicated. 

Single's Inferno Season 2 (Series) 

Release date: December 13 

Raise your hands if you'd choose watching real-life drama instead of being implicated in your own wild tale. Yup, that's exactly why we have shows like Single's Inferno. Warm up your screen right in time for the cold -Ber months. 

The Glory (Series)

Release date: December 30 

Song Hye Kyo is back, folks! This time, she's going down the revenge drama route in this sure-to-be nail-biting title. Song Hye Kyo's character plays a teacher working towards avenging herself against bullies who ruined her childhood—until she becomes the homeroom advisor to one of her bullies' kids. 

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery (Movie)

Release date: December 23

Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline, Kate Hudson, Dave Bautista, and more. Yeah, you may want to pause a bit. This much-anticipated sequel to the 2019 Knives Out banger starring Daniel Craig as master detective Benoit Blanc follows the kooky character on yet another mystery.
