(SPOT.ph) A huge chunk of what makes movies good is a well-written script. Some films follow the conventions of a rom-com, like Exes Baggage, while some indie films, like Mata Tapang, go the experimental route and explore a variety of topics. While the two can mix, those used to just one genre can have trouble putting them together and for the characters of TBA Studios' newest movie, it's a problem that's all too familiar. The film, entitled Write About Love, stars Miles Ocampo and Rocco Nacino as a rom-com and indie film scriptwriter, respectively, who must work together to create a love story. However, their clashing personalities, views, and styles make things difficult.Â
The film also stars Yeng Constantino and Joem Bascon as the characters of Ocampo and Nacino's project. Constantino also covers Jolina Magdangal's "Kapag Ako Ay Nagmahal", which is also used in the film. Write About Love is Crisanto Aquino's directorial debut.
