It’s ideal for a short staycation in the city, especially if you’ve been wanting a change of scenery after months of being stuck at home. These accommodation options have also beefed up their health and safety measures following the green light from the Department of Tourism to allow staycations even during general community quarantine.

The Sphere Serviced Residences

If you’re looking for a place to stay that's near excellent food options, The Sphere has got you covered. It's near restaurants like Mendokoro Ramenba, La Petite Parisienne, and Apartment 1B. But if you’re into cooking, they have a fully equipped kitchenette and dining space for you and a bit of company. They have work-from-hotel packages, which range from day-use to a three-month stay if you want to go on a work-cation instead. The Fitness Center, Lounge, and Pool are closed as of writing.

If you’re looking for a place to stay while working in Makati, Seda Residences has an excellent location as it is situated right at the business and commercial district of the city. Accommodations range from studios to three-bedroom units, with the latter featuring a master bedroom with bathtub, washer and dryer, and a dining table for six. Due to quarantine guidelines, the restaurants, bars, the pool, gym, and spa remain closed, but you can order food for pick-up at Misto, their in-house restaurant.             


Ascott Makati

Ascott Makati's serviced apartments come in contemporary interiors. You can choose from studios to three-bedroom units; all of which are fitted with en-suite bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, washing machines, and dryers. Aruga by Rockwell offers Asian contemporary style-interiors and first-rate amenities. They have rooms ranging from studio up to two-bedroom suites, which have high-speed Internet, a comfortable bed, and a fully equipped kitchen. Astoria Plaza is close to the Ortigas business district, and offers excellent value for money with its many amenities and services. Here, you have your own kitchenette, an entertainment center, and an en-suite bathroom filled with complete amenities. If you're looking for sweet treats to snack on or take home after your stay, you can check out Astoria's bibingka (which comes in dulce de leche or ube variants), oatmeal cookies, blueberry muffins, and more.

The Linden Suites

Within walking distance from The Linden Suites are a couple of Ortigas malls and restaurants, making it a convenient option for longer stays in the area.
