Miss Saigon Synopsis

Miss Saigon is a reinterpretation of Giacomo Puccini's timeless opera, Madame Butterfly. Set in 1970s Vietnam during the Vietnam War, the musical follows the journey of Kim, a young Vietnamese woman, as she navigates the chaos of Saigon. Her life becomes intertwined with that of an American G.I. named Chris, leading to an extraordinary three-year quest for a reunion, all while concealing a heart-wrenching secret.

The musical holds a special place in the hearts of Filipinos, as it has been the stage where countless Filipino artists have had their moment to shine at international productions of Miss Saigon. Talents like Lea Salonga, Jon Jon Briones, Joanna Ampil, Rachelle Ann Go, and many others have showcased their extraordinary skills and passion through this production. Manila's vibrant theater scene and rich cultural heritage make it the perfect city to welcome a new company of world-class performers for this phenomenal production.

Miss Saigon opens on March 23, 2024, at The Theatre at Solaire, Solaire Resort and Casino, 1 Aseana Avenue, Parañaque City. Ticket prices range from P2,116 to P8,464. They're available through Ticketworld on November 6 with a pre-selling for UnionBank and Citi members from October 23 to November 3, and for waitlist registrants from October 28.
