Joël Robuchon-trained chef Miko Calo lets her French culinary training shine through French restaurant Metronome. While the restaurant is currently closed, she's launched Lazy Oeuf, which offers a constantly-changing menu that’s designed for takeout. Some of the offerings available for this week are Beef Bourguignon (P650/good for one, P1,250/good for two), Herb-Crusted Halibut (P850/good for one, P1,600/good for two), and Mango White Chocolate Torte (P300). Jordy Navarra

Jordy Navarra’s Toyo Eatery made waves with their contemporary take on Filipino food. In light of the quarantine, they’ve started offering bilao that are great for sharing—take your pick from the Pancit Espesyal (P1,500/10 inches, P2,900/16 inches) with hand-cut egg noodles and other toppings, the Silog Espesyal (P1,500/10 inches, P2,900/16 inches) topped with Toyo Eatery’s three-cut pork barbecue, or the Pansit Lublob (P1,700/10 inches, P2,900/16 inches) with handmade egg noodles topped with chicharon, smoked pork and chicken, poached eggs, sauteed veggies, and pickles.

Nicco Santos
Hey Handsome’s Nicco Santos is known for injecting Southeast Asian flair onto his food, and you can have your fill of his cooking through Sambar. This new venture specializes in home-style Asian eats like Nasi Lemak with your choice of Sambar Fried Chicken or Curry Chicken Kapitan (price available upon request).

Josh Boutwood

Miss Chef Josh Boutwood’s experimental cooking? His restaurants The Test Kitchen and Savage offer ready-to-cook DIY kits that come with marinated meats and other ingredients so you can make Josh Boutwood-style dishes at home—try Savage’s Barramundi (P950) or The Test Kitchen’s Ribeye with Creamed Spinach and Creamy Parmesan Mashed Potatoes (P2,900). Bruce Ricketts

Chef Bruce Ricketts is known for his experimental takes on Japanese and Mexican fare, and three of his restaurants are open for delivery. Mecha Uma’s got premium Japanese-inspired eats like Rib-Eye Rosu Don (P1,350), while its more casual sister Sensei offers Japanese comfort eats like the Tuna & Crispy Scallop Dynamite (P340). La Chinesca is Ricketts’ taco joint, offering remixed Mexican eats like the Carnitas Taco (P155) and Beef Tostada (P180).

Chele Gonzalez

Spanish chef Chele Gonzalez pays tribute to his Spanish roots as well as indigenous Filipino ingredients and techniques through Gallery by Chele, and the restaurant has recently launched ready-to-cook meal kits so you can enjoy their food at home. They’ve got Spanish favorites such as Gambas al Ajillo (P650); Filipino-inspired creations like the Kare-Kare Bon Bon (P395) with peanut praline, beef cheeks, and bagoong mayo; and meal sets for sharing, like the Pica Pica (P5,900/good for four to six) with Croquetas, Pulpo ala Gallega, Pintxos, Paella de Pato y Setas, Cuarto de Cochinillo, Carilleras al Vino Tinto, and Ube Torrija.

Margarita Fores

Heralded as Asia’s Best Female Chef in 2016, Margarita Fores is known for her hearty cooking with influences from Italian and Filipino cuisine. Her restaurants Cibo, Lusso, and Grace Park deliver, so you can enjoy Cibo’s Penne al Telefono (P435/regular, P765/la famiglia), Lusso’s Demi-Pound Burger (P1,050), and Grace Park’s Muscovado Beef Belly (P750) at home.
